Online Poster making competition organized at Postgraduate Government College, Sector-46, Chandigarh 
To commemorate the National Sports Day, the Stress Management and Yoga Society of Postgraduate Government College, Sector-46, Chandigarh organized a online poster making competition on Major Dhyan Chand on the National Sports day on 29th August 2020. The purpose of the event was to make the students aware about the Major Dhyan Chand’ s contribution in sports and the importance of National Sports day. Principal of the college, Prof. (Dr.) Rosy Walia appreciated the initiative taken to organize the poster making competition to spread awareness about the Major Dhyan Chand on the National Sports day. More than 100 students actively participated. The first prize went to Poojan Singh of BA Semester-V, the second prize was won by Aman Sharma of BA Semester-III and the third prize went to Saurav Kumar of BA Semester-V.

Webinar on “Stress Management” organized at Postgraduate Government College, Sector-46, Chandigarh
The Stress Management and Yoga Society of Postgraduate Government College, Sector-46, Chandigarh organized a Webinar on “Stress Management.” The aim of this Webinar was to provide a stress management platform for overall wellness. Principal of the college, Prof. (Dr.) Kamlesh Bajaj appreciated the initiative taken to organize the webinar to spread awareness about the need of stress management during the pandemic. In her welcome address, Dr. Beenu Verma, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology said that strong management skills are required to attain higher levels of happiness and satisfaction in difficult times. Dr. Mukesh Chauhan, Associate Professor, Department of Commerce, PGGC-46, Chandigarh was the keynote speaker. He focused on the urgent need for such efforts to improve the efficiency of the individuals by employing effective physical as well as psychological techniques.  The purpose of the Webinar was to make the participants aware and alert about the need of regular exercises and meditation therapies. The Convenor of the Stress Management and Yoga Society and Coordinator of Webinar Dr. Vishaw Gaurav, coordinated the whole process of Webinar successfully. The Dean, Dr Rajesh Kumar and the Vice- Principal, Dr. Simmi Arora also graced the occasion by participating and sharing their valuable views on the issue. More than 100 participants got the opportunity to join the webinar. At the end of the Webinar Ms .Jyoti, Assistant Professor in the department of Political Science presented the Vote of Thanks.
